This week we have been planning for and starting our independent writing based on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We have made a great start, using some descriptive language to introduce Mr. Willy Wonka and the inside of the factory.

In maths, we have continued our work on place value, working with numbers up to 10,000. We are also making great progress with learning the multiplication tables.

Our curriculum study has moved on to science. We are learning all about how sounds are made, how the vibrations travel to our ears and how pitch is changed.
