Spring Term is here!
Welcome! Bienvenue! Wilkommen! Spring Term begins!
Welcome back and a happy new year to you all. I hope you had a lovely Christmas with families and are raring to go again with what we have available in the Spring Term.
Outdoor Learning is very important to our Federation as a fantastic outlet for all children. It provides a brilliant source of learning for conservation, plant and animal studies, as well as the ways natural materials grow and produce elements we come into contact with every day. We have a fabulous outdoor learning space and over the course of this year, we will be embedding the use of it more and more to enhance and embellish our curriculum. One particular feature will be the introduction of beehives, which will be with us until the Summer holidays. This will be implemented safely and having Miss. McMylor as our resident apiarist will tap into her passions and specialisms. Please remember to send your child in with a pair of inexpensive Wellington boots to keep their shoes clean and their feet dry. We wish to keep them at school, so the children can go out whenever needed. They love being outside and all pupils get involved without delay no matter what they are asked to do. Outdoor Learning allows children of all abilities to access it successfully and we look forward to seeing more and more in the coming weeks.
Hopefully, you will have seen and read my newsletter and kept a copy of the Spring Term events calendar nearby as a handy reminder of what we have coming up as we head towards Easter. I cannot believe it has only been two days, because so much has already been prepared in readiness.
Have a relaxing weekend everyone.
