First Week Back!

After a relaxing week off, we were straight back to work on Monday with an exciting virtual visit to the British Museum. We spent an hour finding out about the museum and how many artefacts they have - an incredible 8 million!!! We then got to look at some of those artefacts, and we had to think about what they told us about the Stone Age. After we had found out some facts about prehistoric life, we took part in a Kahoot! quiz. We had an interesting and informative afternoon. 

In English, we have started reading Stone Age Boy. We are enjoying the story and also finding out some more about Stone Age life. We are writing our own version of the adventure story.

In maths, we have started learning how to add two 3-digit numbers, using base 10 to start with before moving on to using column method.

Today, we joined the rest of the Federation to mark Remembrance day, taking along the wreath that we had made in class.

We are looking forward to Odd Sock Day and Children in Need Day next week.
