Whale Watching!

This week we have started our new book - The Whale by Ethan and Vita Murrow.  On Monday we worked together to research different species of whales. On Tuesday we took our learning outside to find out what was in Lucy's backpack, this gave us some clues about her personality.

In our music lessons with Mrs White-Joubert we have been studying and singing Mamma Mia as well as playing along with the glockenspiels.

The Vikings have arrived in our History lessons, we now know where they came from, the raid on Lindisfarne and what life was like when the Vikings lived in Britain. We discovered that our village name comes from the Old English meaning ‘farmstead or village of a man called Ormr.

We are looking forward to our last swimming lesson on Friday when we will all try to swim 25 metres.
