Celebrating World Books

World Book Day celebrated in style!
It has been another busy week across the Federation, topped off by the fact that on Wednesday both schools celebrated World Book Day with many dressing up in pyjamas or in costumes to depict their children's favourite book characters, such as the Wimpy Kid or Percy Jackson. Everyone looked amazing.
As part of our Junior Leadership project this year, we will be working with John Grant school on ensuring our children are exposed to difference and diversity. I have been fortunate enough to be invited to look around John Grant next week and meet their young people to discuss what they think a great project theme might be. I am very much looking forward to it.
A big thank you to PC. Martin who held an assembly on the dangers of online bullying and social media with our children. It was extremely informative and hopefully our pupils absorb such clear messages in order to keep themselves safe.
Next week on Monday Year 5 are having an aspirational trip to Norwich Law Courts to learn about how our justice system works. On Tuesday the Years 5 & 6 Boys' Football Team are playing North Denes at home. Whilst on Friday, the Ranworth House Captains will be Headteachers for the Day. So another eventful week
Have a lovely weekend everyone.
