Another week flies by
We are as busy as usual in KGAM.
There is always so much going on in the classroom it is hard to know where to begin. We are really enjoying our new Write Stuff Unit - The Whale. This week we have been finding out about whales and creating posters to display the information. We have also discovered more about the main character in the story - Lucy - who loves the sea and is an explorer and adventurer. This unit is based on a picture book and it is really unusual and beautiful to look at.
We have continued our Invasion topic moving on to Viking settlers and their way of life. We have been gathering information and facts to improve our knowledge. This has been greatly helped by some fantastic homework - we have had Viking longships, replica helmets, runic writing, replica coins and even a magnificent longhouse or two. We always enjoy seeing everyone's homework and thank you for your support of these activities.
If you haven't seen our gymnastics photos on the class dojo, have a look. We are coming to the end of our gymnastics sessions but we have enjoyed working with Mr Carr and our agility skills have definitely improved.
We hope everyone has a good weekend. See you next week.
