School Attendance & Admissions Information
Research commissioned by the Department for Education shows missing school for even a day can mean a child is less likely to achieve good grades, which can have a damaging effect on their life chances. At Ormesby Village Schools Federation, our aim is to work with parents to ensure that all our pupils receive the most from their education and reach their full potential.
Our Junior school admits many pupils from the feeder setting of Ormesby Village Infant School and endeavours to ensure the transition between the two establishments is as smooth and as reassuring as possible for the pupils and parents. There are regular transition meetings about children, training is shared and both settings work hard to provide the strongest educational beginnings possible for the youngest of children.
